No commitment. Choose a time that works for you
Maybe you’re here because:
You might spend a lot of time trying to figure out whether something is safe, whether you made the right choice, what a thought says about you, or whether you can trust your own memory or judgment. Sometimes that looks like checking or asking for reassurance. Sometimes it happens almost entirely in your head: reviewing, analyzing, researching, comparing, or trying to get to the bottom of something.
Or maybe anxiety shows up differently for you. You avoid certain places, situations, sensations, memories, or experiences because they feel overwhelming or unsafe. Your world may have gotten smaller as you’ve gotten better at organizing your life around what you’re afraid might happen.
You might also be carrying a lot of shame or self-criticism. Feeling like you should be coping better, second-guessing yourself, or treating every mistake, uncomfortable emotion, or anxious reaction as evidence that something is wrong with you.
Or maybe, after being anxious for a long time, you just feel worn down. You may feel less interested in things, more withdrawn, unmotivated, or low and not necessarily realize how much of that exhaustion and disconnection has grown out of spending so much time bracing, avoiding, worrying, or trying to keep everything under control.
Whether you call it OCD, anxiety, trauma, a phobia, perfectionism, or simply being exhausted by your own brain, you may be ready for something other than continuing to manage your life around fear.
Things you might be wondering:
Who Are You?
Hi, I’m Brittany, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oregon. I hold my degree from Columbia University and I have extensive specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness.
I am told my style is thoughtful, hopeful, and straightforward, with room for humor. I take things seriously, but that doesn’t mean every moment in therapy has to be serious. I always have room for your questions, honesty and laughter.
How Can Therapy Help?Therapy can help you get less tangled up in the things your brain tells you you need to solve, avoid, check, or get exactly right. I use evidence based therapy (exposure therapy, ACT, mindfulness, and self-compassion) to help you respond differently to anxiety, trust yourself more, and be a little less brutal with yourself along the way. The goal isn’t to never feel anxious, it’s for anxiety to have less say in how you live

FAQ-
Some people come in already knowing they have OCD, anxiety, PTSD, or a phobia, while others just know that something is taking up too much space in their life. You don’t need to figure out the diagnosis on your own before reaching out. We can talk about what you’re experiencing, make sense of the patterns together, and decide whether my approach feels like a good fit.

Exposure therapy shouldn’t feel like being thrown into the deep end. We’ll work together to choose options that feel challenging but doable, and you’ll always understand why we’re doing them. The goal isn’t to overwhelm you- it’s to help your brain learn, little by little, that you can handle anxiety and uncertainty.

Well Inside Therapy is a private-pay, out-of-network practice, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. If your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. You may be able to get reimbursed for part of the cost of therapy. Check the Session Rates page to learn more.
