50-60 min sessions. weekly often especially in the beginning for momentum but some clients may choose or move to biweekly or monthly based on need and scheduling. Treatment lasts as long as it continues to be useful for you, anywhere between a few sessions to a few years depending on your goals.

Evidence-based treatment means a therapy approach that is supported by research and have been shown to help with the concerns I treat, such as anxiety, OCD, panic, phobias, perfectionism, and PTSD. It does not mean therapy is one-size-fits-all. Instead, it means using proven methods as a foundation, while tailoring treatment to your specific goals, values, history, and pace.

I am not in-network with any insurances, but I am able to offer superbills or Thrizer out-of-network benefits. Please see the session rates page for more info.

Out-of-network benefits are part of some insurance plans that may allow you to receive partial reimbursement for therapy with a provider who is not directly contracted with your insurance company. If your plan includes these benefits, you typically pay for sessions upfront and then submit claims for possible reimbursement. I also utilize a service called Thrizer that can submit the claims to your insurance for you and work out any issues. The amount your insurance company may reimburse depends on your specific plan, deductible, and insurance company’s allowed rate, so it’s always a good idea to check your benefits directly with your insurance provider. Here are some questions you may want to ask your insurance provider:
Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage? Am I able to use these benefits for telehealth?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
How much of my deductible has been met this year?
Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?
What percentage of outpatient psychotherapy sessions are covered per session?
How much will I be reimbursed for a 50-minute psychotherapy session (CPT code: 90834)?
How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement?
How long does it take for me to receive reimbursement?
